Gladstone Films : Media : PSA

This is a PSA I did as part of "Better Off Broadcast". I directed and shot this Public Service Announcement. I went for the Hip Green Trendy look for the interior to help draw the viewer into the spot. The goal was for the viewer to expect some hip sexy commercial, and then hit them with the message. I augmented the already greenish flouresents with Plus 1/2 green. Faces were lit with a half blue correction to tungsten sources. I chose Kodak's High speed daylight balanced stock as I like how well it handles mixed light sources, and doesn't "blow out" from uncorrected flouresent's green spike. The fist two shots of the man were flipped left to right in post to maintain screen direction continuity.
